Introducing the New G4 Series!

All the G4 models have the same new features and are based on the same electronics, with the following specs:

• Dual chip No Flicker LEDs
• 50,000 hours expected LED lifetime
•  8 wavelengths 630,650, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, 1060 4 wavelengths of Red for your skin and 4 wavelengths of Near-Infrared for deeper issues, can be used simultaneously or independently

Their dimensions, treatment area and number of LED’s are the key difference. 

• The Tabletop measures 12.6” Long by 9.06” Wide by 2.56”Deep. It is best suited for targeted treatments. It has 72 Dual Chip LEDs.

• The Pro measures 36.22” Long by 11.81” Wide by 2.56”D is designed to cover more than half your body at close range. It has 288 Dual Chip LEDs.

• The Max is a full body panel which measures 71.65” Long by 11.81” Wide by 2.56” Deep and provides lengthwise coverage for most people and widthwise coverage with those who have narrower frames. It has 576 Dual Chip LEDs.

• The Ultimate is our biggest panel and provides full body coverage for most people even those with wider shoulders. It measures  71.65” Long by 22.83” Wide by 2.56” Deep. It has 1152 Dual Chip LED's.

That entirely depends on your budget, the reason you are buying the light - including the size of the area you are trying to treat, the benefit you are seeking and how much time you have to spend on treating yourself. 

The sizes range from the Rouge Tabletop G4 which is geared towards targeted treatment, Rouge Pro G4 which is considered half body, the Rouge Max G4 which is for full body with narrower width and the full body Rouge Ultimate G4 which covers wider frames -  we cover all your needs. Irradiance, or power density, is an important variable to consider when buying a red light therapy panel. It dictates how effective your treatments will be and how deeply the NIR wavelength will be able to penetrate for deep tissue benefits.

The new G4 series all emit approximately 150mw/cm2 at close range of about 6" away, as measured by a solar power meter or 81mw/cm2 at 6" away as measured by a spectrometer.

Rouge panels also feature a generous number of Dual Chip LEDs in order to provide high light density as well. Our panels have among the highest number of LEDs distributed evenly across the panel for the most optimized and consistent blanket of light energy that is not disrupted by multiple gaps in the panel or seams. 

All of our products are manufactured in China. We are very close to our manufacturing partners who are among the very best run facilities in the country, employees are all treated very well and earn excellent salaries. We collaborate with them on product design and engineering, as well as on logistics / fulfilment and of course we are in constant communication with the team in Shenzhen.

One of the most important factors to consider when buying a red light therapy device is the amount of EMF generated by the product. 

All of our panels have extremely low EMF ratings, and at a 4" distance, the reading is a steady 0.00 - making Rouge the industry's lowest EMF emission panels.

No, you do not need adapters. We ship all of our devices with the correct electrical cord for your location. If you are needing to travel with your light and need it to work with a different electrical infrastructure, please let us know and we can arrange to have an extra cord supplied at a minimal cost.

Half of the lights on all Rouge G4 devices deliver Near Infrared (NIR) light. This light spectrum is invisible to the human eye, which is why you cannot actually see light coming from them. If you use only NIR, the device will appear to emit little to no light. If you use red, or both NIR and red light, then you will see bright red light coming from the panel. We do not reccomend looking into the panel as the NIR wavelengths are still quite intense even if they are not visible and the red ligths are very bright. 

ROUGE RED LIGHT THERAPY DOSAGE GUIDELINES

We recommend starting slow with shorter sessions at a greater distance. Be conservative on initial dosage when working on more sensitive areas. Adding up all the areas you will treat, do not exceed 120 joules of exposure per session, which is approximately 15-20 minutes of total exposure at close range.

These guidelines are valid for all Rouge red light therapy products.

Frequency: 

Minimum of 3 times per week, ideally once daily. If more than once per day is required, sessions should be at least 6 hours apart.

Distance from light:

The closer you are, the shorter your session will be and you will cover a smaller surface area. If you stand further away, you will be able to cover a larger area but more time will be required. Remember that we need to give the treatment area a certain amount of energy, as we move away from the light the energy available to your body diminishes rapidly.

For skin issues: 

Skin requires 3 to 15 joules of red light (660nm) per session which you can achieve by following these guidelines:

8” (15 cm) from the light for 30 seconds to 2.5 minutes

12” (30 cm) from the light for 1 minute to 3.5 minutes

18” (45 cm) from the light for 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes

24” (60 cm) from the light for 2 minutes to 7 minutes

36” (90 cm) from the light for 3 minutes to 14 minutes

Note: If you are using red light for anti-aging or general skin health purposes, then you should stand between 12 and 36 inches from the light.

For deeper issues:

For treating deeper issues, like muscle, brain, bones, tendons, glands, fat, joints, fat, etc., we need between 10 and 40 joules of near infrared light (850nm). In this case we will always want to be close to the light. Here are guidelines to follow:

8” (15 cm) from the light for 2 minutes to 7 minutes

12” (30 cm) from the light for 5 minutes to 10 minutes

Red and red/infrared LED lights use ranges of wavelengths that penetrate the outer layer of the skin, providing the cells with usable energy. This brings about various reactions in the cells which are believed to have benefits. Learn More.

Red light therapy is generally considered to be very safe and there are no known side effects. However there are some considerations where you should avoid using red light or at least discuss it with your physician.

If you are sensitive to light, we recommend speaking to your doctor prior to using Rouge. If you are pregnant, have cancerous or potentially cancerous lesions, or if you are taking medication such as Tetracycline, Digoxin, Retin A, or any other photosensitizing drug, you should speak to your healthcare provider before using Rouge. You should not use Rouge on infants.

We do recommend wearing the protective goggles that come with each Rouge panel (please note that the Nano does not come with goggles as it is designed for targeted treatment). We also advise against looking directly into the LED lights as they are very bright. 

Red light is visible to the eye. We  use 660nm wavelength for all of our devices. It is a shorter wavelength, widely used in research and clinical settings. This wavelength is short which means it hits the surface of the skin and penetrates about 1-2mm below the skin's surface. Meanwhile, Near InfraRed (NIR) light is nearly invisible to the naked eye, and it penetrates deeper below the skin surface, 2 to 3mm. Rouge lights are always balanced with half our lights at 660nm and the other half at 850nm.

How do I return?

• Please visit our Returns Center to initiate a return
• Returns for North and South America will be sent to our US or Canadian warehouse for inspection.
• International returns may also be sent to directly to our manufacture in China for inspection in order to keep shipping and duty fees as low as possible.

Who pays for shipping of returned goods?

• Client is responsible for all shipping fees when returning items. 

What items are returnable? 

• All Rouge Light Panels - within 60 days from the date of purchase
• In like new condition
• In the original packaging with all of the accessories and cables
• Stands and racks are subject to a 20% restocking fee and can only be accepted if they are in new condition with no scratches or visible signs of being being assembled and/or used

What items are non-refundable? 

 The following items cannot be returned:

• Gift cards
• Stands or racks cannot be returned after they have been assembled

The item I received is damaged!

If the purchased product is faulty, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivered date. 

Can the items be exchanged?

We allow the exchange of purchased items for select variants. Once the exchange request is approved, the replaced item will be shipped to you. We cannot echange stands or racks after they have been assembled

What are the refund options?

How do I ship back the items?

How soon will I get my refund?

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via an email. You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 5 - 7 working days after approval.

Warranty Information

1. Rouge Red Light Therapy devices are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of THREE (3) YEARS from the purchase date.
2. Free replacements are warranted for a period of SIX (6) MONTHS.
3. Warranty does not cover the following damage(s): Modified product, improper installation or use, rough or negligent treatment, accidental damage, improper cleaning, electrical surges, or damage caused by direct exposure to natural elements like water or fire for example.
4. If rough or negligent treatment or any other causes of damage that are not covered under this warranty are determined to be the cause of damage, the customer will be responsible for the cost of labor and parts needed to fulfill the warranty work.
5. Warranty does not cover the loss of third party with direct or indirect damage(s)
