Rouge Ultimate G3

I have done red light in a salon prior to moving to another small community and never found that service in the area and then I found Rouge. I ordered the Ultimate G3 and have no regrets. It’s only been a month but I notice subtle differences in my skin but mostly notice a huge difference in my mood and energy. Some of my friend have asked if I’m on something because they see a big difference in my energy and they all want in on it lol. I’m preparing to order the Pro G3 for my motorhome so I can take the power of the red light with me when I’m out camping thru the summer. If I could fit the Ultimate in my motorhome I’d take it but don’t think the inverter could handle it off grid. I love it!!

I love the fact that it’s on a stand as it is quite heavy. Seems powerful but unfortunately when in its highest position, the panel has to be really close to an outlet as there is not that much length left to plug it in the wall. I didn’t figure out what kind of wire extension would work ( a regular one doesn’t) yet to be easier to position the panel.

So far we are loving this red light panel. it is proving to be very popular with all the clients that try it out. First off, I am 39 years old Vietnamese male. I do not have much experience buying red light therapy panel. I originally bought the Rouge Essential, used it for 4 weeks and gave it to my friend. After 2 weeks of using the Rouge Essential, I decided to buy the Rouge Ultimate. It arrive 2 weeks after ordering because it went out of stock right after I placed my order. Marc sent me one from HK via air delivery. It came really fast but oh boy did the box got messed up. Luckily, the panel did not get damaged. It came in in a really huge box. the box was near 100 pounds. As I said, the box was opened and I lost papers and booklet that came with the panel. I assume there was some because the Rouge Essential I received had it. Experience with red light in general: Since I used both Rouge Essential and Rouge Ultimate, I will talk about the benefit I observed regardless of the model. I'll compare the two panel further below. I observed many benefit after using red light. On my first day, I immediately was able to run longer on the treadmill (20 minutes at 5.7 miles per hours) without pain. My left knee always gave me trouble after the 17 minutes mark in the past so I normally stop after 20 minutes. I also couldn't run 3-4 days in a row either. After red light, I was able to run faster, longer, with less rest and with no pain. First thing that came to my mind is "placebo effect" and increase endurance due to more training. Regardless, I liked the effect so I kept using it. It's been more than two months now. My run is now at 6.5 miles per hour for 20 minutes and I still don't have any pain. I even increased from 6.5 to 6.7 for the last 5 minutes because I didn't feel the exhaustion. I also noticed my recovery time going down after weight lifting. That soreness that normally last two days was barely noticeable on the second day. I increased my weights a bit too but don't want to over do it. I don't want to mess up my shoulder again. As per weight lost I did go from 152lbs to 147lbs but that is probably due to increase exercise. I don't think that red light would magically make people lose weight. It's probably something like the lights make your cell function better so it can more easily do the chemical reaction required for converting energy. Anyway, I'm no doctor and I did not do any research on the matter so don't listen to me. All I'm saying is that I feel more energized. Skin also benefitted, I didn't have any wrinkle but I did have huge fold around my eyes when I laugh. It took around a month but I feel they are way less noticeable now. Finally comparing the Rouge Essential and the Rouge Ultimate: It use to take me around an hour to do my whole body with the rouge essential. it was my main reason for upgrading to the Rouge Ultimate. With the Rouge Ultimate it now take 20 minutes (10 minutes for the front and 10 for the back). it's a big pros to go for the ultimate but it's the only one. The Rouge Ultimate is super heavy. There is no handle so where to hold it when moving it is really important. Last thing I wanted is to accidentally break one of those LED. I already noticed that some of the LED are loose. Not sure what is used to hold them inside the casing but I have a couple of loose one. They are all working so I'm not touching them. This bring to my next point. How will warranty be honoured? Do I have to ship the panel back? How much shipping will it be? Obviously, shipping something like the Rouge Essential back is a no brainer. The Rouge Essential also pack a higher LED density. The Essential has 200 LED and the panel surface area is 164.43 inch^2. The Rouge Ultimate has 1200 LED and a surface area of 1410.5 inch^2. For those that followed the math, the Essential has 1.216 LED per square inch and the Ultimate has 0.851 LED per square inch. But to be honest, those number only matter at a certain points since, you can stand further or closer to the panel to adjust the amount of energy you're being exposed to. In the same vain, the Rouge Ultimate is noticeably less intense. Even though they market it differently. The marketing material says 1200LED @ 5W = 6000W... but just below that it also says the panel require 13.4 amp @ 110v or 6.82 amp @ 220v. I'm not an electrical engineer but from what I remember P=VI so 13.4 amp x 110v = 1474W. Most residential outlet support 15 - 20 amp so... I think 13.4 amps is plenty good. I don't think there would be a point of having a panel that can't be used cuz it keep flipping off breakers or burn down houses. The Rouge Essential on the other hand does not show the exact number of amp used and I landed my meter to my friend so I can't do exact measurement. However, sitting in front of it, you will immediately notice the difference. With the tanning goggle on, the brightness of the LED coming through the Essential is really strong, the same cannot be said for the rouge Ultimate. This being said, what does it actually mean? Is there a benefit to have stronger LED? or is it dangerous to have so intense LED? bunch of questions I do not have answers to. My experience is that switching from the Essential to the Ultimate was disappointing. I was expecting the really strong light but since I gave the Essential away when I received the Ultimate, I had no choice but to use the Ultimate. After a month of doing so, I didn't notice any real difference. There are article that says there is a point of diminishing return when using red light that could explain this. The Essential is more intense but there is no actual benefit. In conclusion, get any of the Rouge panel. The way I feel after starting to use the panel really worth it. I like the speed of the Ultimate but fear the day it will start exhibiting problem. Not sure how much it will be to ship back for repair. The smaller panel are easy to move around but is time consuming. Now that I have the Ultimate, I will stick with it but if I had to do it again, I might consider buying multiple smaller panel. I would like to see how many smaller panel can be hooked together though. Let's remember that there is still a limit to the amount of current the panel can draw ffrom the outlet.
